Santa Clara – Lady Gaga announced her retirement Monday morning, just after leaving the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas where she reportedly wagered her entire net worth of $230 million that her National Anthem at the Superbowl would last longer than 2 minutes 20 seconds.

“Absolute no brainer,” said Gaga, who was appalled that previous anthem singers had not undertaken similar steps. “I had to draw out those last few notes, I’ll tell you that, but, how do I say this… chaaaa-chiiiiiing!”

Reporters also confirmed that Jim Nantz was seen at the Westgate early Monday morning attempting to redeem a $20 wager that the CBS announcers would mention that Broncos coach, Gary Kubiak, was John Elway’s backup in Denver years ago.
