Atlanta – Locked into the fifth seed with only tonight’s game remaining in the 2016-2017 regular season, the Atlanta Hawks have decided to rest their entire coaching staff with the playoffs just around the corner. This step marks the latest in the ever-increasing trend of NBA teams using advanced medical data to drive their nightly decisions. “Coach Bud needs some sleep and a good meal,” said Hawks General Manager, Wes Wilcox, “maybe some chicken soup or a salmon salad with mango salsa, or something.” While the Hawks will go without a coaching staff in their regular season finale, pundits are unsure whether or not it will have any impact on their success. At press time, it was unclear whether or not the Hawks would rest their training and medical staff as well.
