Waco – Baylor University students and boosters were shocked when the football team announced Wednesday that 5-star prospect, Andrew Jenkins, had signed a letter of intent to play football for the Bears next fall. To date, Jenkins has yet to be indicted or even suspected of any criminal wrongdoing, making his recruitment an outlier for the Bears. “Andrew [Jenkins] is a terrific football player and also, uh, a good guy, apparently,” noted athletic department spokesman, Herman Jacobson. Jenkins is due to report to Baylor sometime over the summer and school authorities are confident that following freshman orientation, they’ll be able to link him to at least one misconduct complaint before the season begins.
